Pitchers to Stream
The first pitcher to stream today is Chris Bassitt of the Toronto Blue Jays. Bassitt will be a little different from the other guys on this list, because he is rostered in around 68% of leagues, while the rest of these guys are only rostered in about 20%. The reason we are putting Bassitt on this list is because he has been incredible this season. In three starts he has only given up two runs, while striking out 21 in that time span. Bassitt is a must have guy, not just to stream but to keep on your roster, so that is why we are putting him on this list.
The second pitcher on this list is Matthew Boyd of the Chicago Cubs. He is another guy who has been excellent this season, and even though he doesn't have a favorable matchup against the Padres today, we still suggest picking him up because of how good he has been this season and the easy points you will be getting from him. In three starts this season, he has posted a 1.59 ERA with 17 strikeouts in that span. Boyd is only rostered in 15.6% of leagues, so we suggest streaming him for today.
The third and final pitcher to stream for today is Bobby Miller of the Dodgers. If you're wondering why a guy like Bobby Miller is starting for the Dodgers with the stacked rotation that they have, it's because of injuries. Blake Snell, Tony Gonsolin, Clayton Kershaw and Evan Phillips are all hurt, and that doesn't even include Shohei Ohtani, who still can't pitch yet. Nevertheless, Miller is on the mound today against the Rockies and he is going to go to work. Even though he had a horrendous 2024 season after a pretty good 2023 one, he is still going to be free points just because this Rockies team is terrible. He is only rostered in 1% of leagues, so he will be an easy stream today.
Matchups to Look Out For
Our first matchup to look out for is Blue Jays players against Spencer Strider. It is Strider's return to baseball after his Tommy John injury last season, and he looks to start with a good outing against the Blue Jays, who have been terrible this season. In his rehab assignments, Strider has been dominant and he looks ready to go. We would suggest watching out or benching your Blue Jays players not named Vladmir Guerrero Jr. today.
Our second and last matchup to look out for today's Yankees players against Kris Bubic today. Bubic has been the best pitcher in baseball so far this season, and the Yankees have not been as good as they should be, minus Aaron Judge. Bubic has posted a 2-1 record, with a 0.96 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 21 strikeouts in three outings this year, and it won't stop there. We predict another good performance from Bubic, which means to look out at the middle tier Yankees players that you have in your lineup.
