Pitchers to Stream

Our first pitcher to stream is Griffin Canning. Canning gets the start tonight against the Phillies, and he has a favorable matchup. Starting off the year a bit slow with seven earned runs given up and only 13 strikeouts in three starts, Canning dominated his last start. When he pitched against the Cardinals, he threw six innings, only giving up three hits and one earned run and striking out eight. Griffin Canning is only rostered in 5.5% of leagues, so he will be an easy stream for today.

The second pitcher to stream today is Jose Quintana of the Brewers. Quintana has gotten off to a good start this season, with only eight hits and one earned run given up in two starts so far. He hasn't really been able to strike out batters yet, as he only has six strikeouts in those two starts. He has a good matchup today against the Giants, and with him only being rostered in 17.6% of leagues, he is another quality streamer for today.

Our third and final pitcher to stream for today is Edward Cabrera. Cabrera will be a risky stream today, but it could easily pay off as he is pitching against this Reds team that is severely inconsistent at hitting. Cabrera has also been inconsistent, as he started off good as in his first start he only gave up two earned runs while striking out five. But in his next start against the Diamondbacks, he gave up five earned runs in just four innings pitched. He is another easy stream, as he is only rostered in 1.8% of leagues.

Matchups to Look Out For

Our first matchup to look out for is Rockies hitters against Kris Bubic. Even though he has slowed down his last two starts, Bubic has still been great on the mound so far this season, and he will look to continue it tonight against the Rockies. Also, the Rockies have been terrible this season, so I don't even know which hitters you would have starting anyways.

Our second and final matchup to look out for today is Dodgers hitters against Shota Imanaga. Shota has been back to his usual self this season, and he has pitched well against the Dodgers this year as well. If you have Shohei Ohtani, obviously don't bench him, but this is for the other hitters on their roster that you might already be 50/50 on if you should start them. Otherwise, have a great day and we hope to see you tomorrow for the April 23rd Fantasy Baseball Insight.
