Pitchers to Stream

Nick Martinez is the first among the three pitchers to stream today. Against the Giants, the Reds have thrown two shutouts, and we think the streak continues here. Martinez is second in the Reds rotation behind Hunter Greene, and he has shown that he is definitely capable of being rostered. Even though Martinez had two rough starts to start the season, he is still a viable starting pitcher in fantasy baseball, and with him only being rostered in 29% of leagues, you definitely need to stream him today.

Justin Verlander is the second option to stream today, and here's a stat that I find mind blowing: Justin Verlander is only rostered in 15.3% of leagues so far. When you look at his first two starts, you may see why that is. Verlander has been okay at best in his first two starts with the Giants. He's given up five earned runs, two of them to the Reds during the Opening series, and he just hasn't looked like himself recently. But, this is still the Reds hitters that have only scored three runs in the last two games, so it looks like Verlander is a good option to stream tonight.

Our third streaming option for today is Sean Burke. Now, we were high on him for his last start and he gave up six runs, the potential is shown for Burke, and he had a great Opening Day against the Angels. Burke is only rostered in 6% of leagues, which makes him an easy stream. He has a relatively good matchup today against the Cleveland Guardians, so pick up Sean Burke and give him another shot.

Matchups to Look Out For

Our first matchup to look out for is Rangers hitters against Shota Imanaga. Shota is coming off two great starts, and looks to keep it rolling against the Rangers. Shota is one of the best pitchers in baseball, and with a 2-0 and a 0.98 ERA through three starts, he looks nearly unstoppable. Also, the Rangers have been struggling with batting as of recently, which is another reason to stay away from them.

The final matchup to look out for is Mariner hitters against the Astros today. Hunter Brown is on the mound for the Astros today, and he has been great so far this season. In his first two starts, he has only given up four earned runs while striking out 15 batters in that time span. Also, I don't know what Mariners hitters you would even be playing right now besides Julio Rodriguez and Jorge Polanco.
