April's Best Lineup- Hitters Edition

The first full month of baseball is over, and with that comes this year's first fantasy team of the month. This will be one player at each position based on how well they performed this month with no bias whatsoever. In a couple of days you will see the April All Pitchers Team, which will include the five best starting pitchers and the three best reliever pitchers. So, let's get right into it and have some fun.
C- Carson Kelly (CHC)
Carson Kelly of the Cubs has been elite this year and even though he missed some games with an injury, he still has the most fantasy points out of all catchers, barely edging out Cal Raleigh. His batting splits are out of this world, with him batting .370/.524/.891 with seven home runs, 21 RBIs and seventeen hits on the season. What's crazy about Kelly's start to the season is that he has more RBIs than hits so far, and that he is only rostered in 60% of leagues still.
1B- Pete Alonso (NYM)
After the Mets went out and signed Juan Soto this offseason, Pete Alonso went under the radar, as if everyone just forgot about him. We doubt that anyone will forget about him after this crazy and incredible month he just put on though. He has been batting .346/.462/.664 this season, with seven home runs to go alongside that. Alonso is third in batting average and second in OBP, SLG, and OPS, and he sits just behind Aaron Judge in all of those, who we will get to later.
2B- Jorge Polanco (SEA)
Jorge Polanco hasn't been talked about nearly enough for how good he has been this season. Even though he has only about half the at bats as the rest of the guys on this season because of a side injury he had earlier in the year, he is still the highest scoring second baseman in the league. He is batting .384/.418/.808 with an impressive nine home runs and 25 RBIs. Even though the Mariners offense has been terrible this season, Polanco has shown to be a bright spot for them.
3B- Alex Bregman (BOS)
It's safe to say that the Alex Bregman signing for the Red Sox has paid off for them. Bregman has been incredible so far this season, while posting batting splits of .326/.397/.581 with seven home runs and 26 RBIs. He is first in the MLB in doubles this season with 12, as well as being seventh in RBIs and eighth in runs scored and batting average. Overall, Bregman has been one of the best players in baseball at the moment, and he looks to continue his hot stretch into May.
SS- Geraldo Perdomo (ARI)
While most people might be surprised that Bobby Witt Jr. isn't the shortstop on this list, he hasn't been as dominant as Perdomo has been this season, and Witt Jr. is having a down year for his standards, which is crazy to say because he is still easily a top three shortstop. Perdomo on the other hand, has had the opposite of a bad start to the season, as he has been pretty much good at everything. He is batting .275, he has five homers and 25 RBIs, and he's got 30 hits as well as seven stolen bases. Perdomo has been extremely solid for the Diamondbacks, and also for your fantasy team.
OF- Aaron Judge (NYY)
Finally, the one man you guys have all been waiting for. Aaron Judge's stats don't even sound real. They sound more like a MLB The Show player, because that's how insane his stats have been so far this season. He is batting .427/.521/.761 with ten home runs, 32 RBIs and 50 hits. Here is a list of every single stat that Aaron Judge leads in this season: Hits, RBIs, HR, AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS. We aren't even including stats like fWAR and WAR, because he is also leading in those too.
DH- Shohei Ohtani (LAD)
No surprise here. Ohtani is still the best DH in baseball, but I think that Aaron Judge has passed him as the best player in the world, or at least until he can pitch again. Ohtani this season has batted .287 with seven home runs, 10 RBIs, and seven stolen bases. The Dodgers have been off to a terrible start, relative to them. How does one have seven home runs and only ten RBIs? Also, Ohtani has more runs scored than hits this season, with 33 runs scored and 32 hits so far.
