Ashton Jeanty was selected with the sixth pick of last night's NFL Draft, and he got picked by the Las Vegas Raiders. To say the least, he will come in and make an impact. Jeanty will come to Vegas and almost immediately be the day one starter at running back, and he will be a workhorse for them this season. In this article we are going to be breaking down Ashton Jeanty's upcoming season with the Raiders and what his fantasy outlook will look like.

Last season at Boise State, Ashton Jeanty ran for 2601 yards and 29 touchdowns on 374 carries. That might seem like a lot of carries, and that's because it's 64 more rushes than the next highest guy. But, Jeanty was the only reason that Boise State got into the college football playoff, and he single handedly won them most of their games. They needed to just keep handing the ball off to Jeanty if they wanted any chance of even coming close to that 12-2 record that they had last season.

On the fantasy side of things, Jeanty will come in and make an instant impact for the Raiders and for your fantasy team. Most experts have Jeanty going anywhere from the second to the fifth running back off the board in redraft leagues. In dynasty leagues however, he's going anywhere from the second to the fourth running back in mock drafts, so just slightly better. The overall theme here is how high Jeanty is going, as most people have him at the very least a top five running back.

Overall, Ashton Jeanty will come in and be a top five running back in fantasy football, no matter if you are in redraft, dynasty, PPR, Half-PPR, or whatever league settings you have. The kid is just plain good, and he will show that this year for the Raiders. If you have the chance, we would take Jeanty wherever he is going, because he is going to be better than anyone predicts.
