Four Prospects to Pick Up Immediately

04/28/2025

The A's top prospect Nick Kurtz has just been called up to the big leagues, so because of that we are making this article. We will name four prospects that you should pick up in dynasty leagues or even redraft leagues because they are about to be called up and they will be great. So, let's get right into it.

Nick Kurtz- 1B (23.2%)

Nick Kurtz just made his MLB debut for the Oakland A's and he really hasn't done anything yet. In two games he has two strikeouts, one hit and one RBI. But, the potential that he has and what we've seen in the minors has shown that he will be a great player. Kurtz is just a great player at getting on base as in the minors he had a .385 OBP and he got walked over 10% of the time. Kurtz would be a great pickup to your team as he will be playing all of the rest of the games for the A's.

Ben Williamson- 3B (0.4%)

Ben Williamson has been great since he has been called up for the Mariners, especially since they have been terrible at hitting this season. In 11 games this season, Williamson has batted .310/.356/.429 with thirteen hits, ten runs scored and two doubles this season. Williamson's most recent performance has been his best all year, as he went 2/5 with four RBIs and a run scored.

Agustin Ramirez-C, 1B (21.3%)

Agustin Ramirez has been one of the best catchers and first basemen in the league since he has been called up. He's batted .474/.524/1.158 since getting called up on April 20, and he pretty much hasn't had a bad game yet. Granted, he only has a five game sample size, but good things are too come for Ramirez. He is rostered in 21.3% of leagues and he has risen 20% in the last week alone, so pick him up quick.

Chandler Simpson- OF (23.7%)

Chandler Simpson has been great since he was called up on April 18th. He has batted .400 since he has been called up, and even though he has only played eight games, it's still good to see how well Simpson has been playing. The only flaw in Simpson's game is that he isn't that much of a power hitter, with no homers and only one double since he has been called up.
