Pitchers to Stream
Our first pitcher to stream for today is Jameson Taillon. I have been trying to get this point across to pick this guy up, because he is gonna be great. His stats may not show because of two outlying games that he's had this season, but he has been playing great outside of those. He has 42 strikeouts to only nine walks this season, but his only problem is giving up home runs. In his last three starts, he has given up eight home runs and he is third in the MLB in home runs given up this season. Nonetheless, Jameson Taillon will be a great stream for today.
The second pitcher to stream for today is Erick Fedde. Fedde is another pitcher who has been playing well lately and has gone under the radar. His problems are with walking batters, as his K/BB ratio is 32-25. He has posted a 3.44 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and a 3-3 record, all of which are pretty good stats. Just two starts ago, Fedde pitched a complete game shutout, with six hits given up and eight strikeouts. Fedde is only rostered in 13.4% of leagues, so he will be an easy stream.
The third and final pitcher to stream today is Will Warren of the New York Yankees. Warren is only rosterd in 9.4% of leagues, so it will be really easy to grab him in your league. Warren has pitched well in his last two starts, pitching a combined 12.1 innings and only giving up three earned runs while striking out 16. Warren is a maestro at striking people out, as he has piled 5+ strikeouts in five consecutive starts.
Matchups to Look Out For
Our first matchup to look out for today is Tarik Skubal against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals have been struggling lately, while Skubal has been on a tear. He has an insane 71-6 K/BB ratio this season, while posting a 2.67 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. In his last three starts alone, Skubal has 31 strikeouts. He is going to eat up this Cardinals lineup today and most likely strike out another ten batters.
The final matchup to look out for today is Antonio Senzatela. Senzatela has been on this segment before, and always for the wrong reasons. Statistically speaking, he is the worst pitcher in the MLB this season and whatever team he pitches against is almost guaranteed to win the game. He has a 1-7 record, 22-13 K/BB ratio, a 6.39 ERA and a 1.99 WHIP. Senzatela is not going to improve this game, and will likely give up 4+ runs, like he has in his last four starts.
