Pitchers to Stream
Shane Smith is the first pitcher to stream for today. Smith´s last start was a little bit rocky, with seven hits and a solo home run given up, while only striking out five. But overall, he has been really good for the White Sox this season. He has a 2.05 ERA this season with 43 strikeouts as well, proving to be the best pitcher in this White Sox rotation. He is only rostered in 21% of leagues, so he will be an easy pickup for today.
The second pitcher to stream for today is Cade Horton. Horton only has two starts on the year, but he hasn't necessarily been bad at all. He has given up three earned runs each start, and has a combined seven strikeouts. The reason that we are saying to stream him isn't because of his past stats, but because he is pitching against the Marlins today, who have been one of the worst teams in baseball.
The final pitcher to stream on May 21, 2025 is going to be Logan Evans of the Seattle Mariners. Evans is another one of those pitchers that have not been the greatest this year, but he has another favorable matchup today. He is pitching against the White Sox today, which just like the Marlins, is one of the worst teams in baseball this season. Plus, Evans pitched well in his last start, pitching seven innings, giving up no earned runs and striking out three.
Matchups to Look Out For
The first matchup to look out for today is Carson Palmquist of the Colorado Rockies, pitching against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Rockies have the worst pitching rotation in the MLB, and Palmquist is really no different from that. In his first start against the Diamondbacks, Palmquist threw four innings, giving up six hits and five earned runs, while striking out zero. The Phillies batters today are going to eat him alive, and we are all here for it.
The second matchup to look out for today is Taijuan Walker, ironically enough, pitching against the Colorado Rockies. Now, Walker isn't as bad as Palmquist is, but he still isn't the greatest pitcher. Don't be surprised if this game ends with someone scoring in the double digits. Walker is also mostly used as a reliever, so if he ends up pitching 5+ innings, it could wear him down a ton. Either way, this is going to be a fun game to watch today.
