Sleeper Picks for the PGA Championship

05/13/2025

Sungjae Im

Sungjae Im is playing really good golf right now, and he has a chance to go out and win this tournament, or at the very least finish in the top ten. Im has seven straight made cuts, and he finished T-5 at the Masters. The way that Im is playing right now, he has put himself to be in contention on Sunday in Quail Hollow. We will just have to wait and see how good he plays this weekend, and if he can actually go out and do it.

Jordan Spieth

You really thought that we wouldn't put Jordan Spieth on this list, especially since he has been playing so well lately? Spieth just needs a PGA Championship victory for him to complete the career Grand Slam, and we really think he has a shot this weekend. Just two weeks ago, he finished fourth place at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in Dallas, and he played very well in his last major. The fan favorite is coming into Charlotte with some of the highest hopes he's had since 2017, and we think he will get it done.

Ludvig Åberg

Ludvig Åberg has been one of the best young players on the PGA Tour. In just 46 events played, he already has three wins, and has made the cut 39/46 times. He already has a win this season at The Genesis Invitational, and he played really well at Augusta earlier in the season, finishing seventh place. Åberg has been so consistent in his young career, and we expect another outstanding performance this weekend in Charlotte.
