Sleeper Picks for the RBC Canadian Open

Davis Riley

If Davis Riley didn't miss the cut two weeks ago at the Charles Schwab Challenge, then he would have way higher odds to win it. He finished tied for second at the PGA Championship, and could've had a shot to win had he not shot a 72 on the final day. Overall, Riley comes into this tournament having the best season of his career so far, with four top-tens and three top-5's already. So don't be surprised if Davis Riley is in contention to win it on Sunday.

Sam Burns

Sam Burns may be the most underrated golfer on the tour this season. Especially recently, Burns has been on fire. In his last five starts, Sam Burns hasn't placed lower than 30th, as well as four top-20s in that stretch. He is playing as good as anyone in the last five weeks besides maybe Scottie Scheffler, and we think that he can get another top five into his resume this weekend. Burns will continue his hot streak this week right into the US Open, where he might do some good things there as well.

Ryo Hisatsune

Ryo Hisatsune is a golfer that you may not have heard of, but you will after this week. This year alone he already has four top-tens, which is crazy. Some of those top-tens include a T5 at the Valero Texas Open, a T4 at the Valspar Championship, and a T6 just two weeks ago at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Hisatsune may not be a household name, but this week we believe that he will come in and get another top-ten, and possibly a top 5.
