Sleeper Picks for the US Open

06/11/2025

Ben Griffin

Ben Griffin may be one of the hottest golfers in the game right now and yet somehow he still only has the 21st best odds to win it all. Just in the last month alone, he won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the Charles Schwab Challenge, finished second at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, and finished T8 at the PGA Championship. He is on fire right now, and has done well in his last major, so it seems surprising that he only has the 21st best odds. We would 100% hit this Ben Griffin line, as he has a high chance of finishing in the top ten.

Keegan Bradley

The Captain is sitting right behind Ben Griffin in the odds at 23rd overall and +9000 odds. All the talk has been all week has been about how tough this golf course is, but it suits Keegan Bradley really well. Also, he has finished top ten in his last two events, those being a T8 at the PGA Championship and a T7 at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. Bradley has a chance to put himself back into the Ryder Cup pool this weekend and a chance to add to his resume with a top five.

Phil Mickelson

The US Open is the only thing missing from Phil's resume. He has the other three majors and six total, he battled Tiger Woods in his prime for the number one player in the world. But, he doesn't have the US Open win. In fact, he has the most runner-up finishes in the US Open, with six. We aren't saying that Phil will go out there and win the entire tournament, but he will easily make the cut, and we believe that Phil Mickelson will finish top 15 in his last US Open ever.
