Waiver Wire Pickups: Fantasy Baseball Edition- Week of 5/15

Jordan Lawlar- SS (10.2%)
The Diamondbacks top prospect has just been called up to the major leagues, and even though he hasn't been playing well, we still strongly advise you to pick him up. He has only played two games so far, but only one of them he played the entire game. Yesterday, he just pinch hit for Ketel Marte when he was out, and the day before he played the entire game. Lawlar is still getting into the groove of playing in the MLB, but once he gets more games in, Jordan Lawlar will be really good.
Heliot Ramos- OF (36.4%)
Heliot Ramos broke out onto the scene last year, when he infamously won NL Player of the Week in late summer, and ever since then he has been great. So far this season, Ramos is batting .288 with seven home runs and 22 RBIs, all of which are just extremely solid. Somehow with how he played at the end of last season and throughout the first month of this season, Ramos is still only rostered in a third of leagues.
Stephen Kolek-SP (19.1%)
Stephen Kolek is listed as a reliever, even though his two appearances this season have both been starts. Kolek has been rising up the ranks quickly, as his two starts this season have been as good as you can get. In 14.1 innings pitched this season, he has a 2-0 record, 11 strikeouts and no earned runs given up. His best start was last week against the Rockies, as he pitched a complete game shutout, while striking out seven. Pick Kolek up quickly before this linsanity run ends for him, and he goes back to being an average pitcher.
Javier Baez- SS (44.7%)
The Javier Baez comeback story has been legendary. He was a huge piece of that 2016 World Series run that the Cubs had, including part of the 3-1 comeback. Then, after one down year, he got traded to the Mets, then to the Tigers, where he has been atrocious. He has been chasing at everything, and has been statistically the worst hitter in the league. But these last couple of weeks, it seems as if the old Baez is back. He is batting .309 with five home runs, 27 RBIs and 38 hits on the season, all of which are on pace to be his best since he was on the Cubs.
AJ Smith-Shawver- SP (42.6%)
AJ Smith-Shawver has taken the leap that literally no one expected him to take this season, but I'm all here for it. This season in 38.2 innings pitched, Smith-Shawver has a 3-2 record, 40 strikeouts, a 2.33 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. His last three starts especially he has taken it up a notch, as he only has one earned run given up in that those last three starts. Overall, Smith-Shawver is being added constantly, so we would pick him up quickly.
